What is the Universe saying when everything goes wrong? Keep reading to find out the answer!

Sometimes everything is just falling apart. I know how annoying and frustrating it can be. Especially if you’re a Team Impatience like me…

But it’s not always a bad sign. It might be a pretty good one!

You see, it’s not all black and white in this life. Some things need to be revealed later on to bring in the greatest benefits.

In this post, I’m sharing what is the Universe saying when everything goes wrong (from my experience), what the signs from the Universe look like and how they happen, and how to trust the Universe’s timing.

Let’s jump right in!

This article is answering the question: What is Universe saying when everything goes wrong?

👋🏼 Signs from the Universe

Do you believe in signs from the Universe? I think it’s good to be aware of slight changes or minor events happening in your life, especially if they come one after another and look like perfect coincidences.

However, some people go too far with this.

They are looking for signs everywhere, even where there are none. It turns into farfetched hunting for signs.

Usually, it brings in a lot of distraction and pointless overthinking. So it’s important to not get carried away and to understand what might be a real sign, and what is just a mind game. Mind you, no one knows what’s what for sure, so you must rely on your gut feeling.

One of the distinctive features of a sign from the Universe is that it happens completely autonomously — you have no control over it and you don’t do anything for it.

It usually looks like someone very kind and protective of you (or the opposite) just secretly follows you around and does things (like Secret Santa).

Signs from the Universe also pretty often appear in the most unexpected moments where it just seems to not make any sense. (We’ll look at my example later in this post.)

As Neil DeGrasse Tyson in his book Astrophysics for People in a Hurry said,

“The Universe is under no obligation to make sense to you.”

Finally, it might look like an instant effortless manifestation.

I always remember this example when about a year ago I was walking to another event during the fashion week in New York and was thinking “I’d like to have another good quality linen shopper to run errands. Yes, one more shopper would be great.” I arrived at the event five minutes later and was gifted a perfect linen shopper. It was a jewelry brand holding the event, so I wouldn’t even assume that they might do that.

✨ What is the Universe saying when everything goes wrong?

So what is the Universe saying when everything goes wrong?

I’ll be brief: When everything goes wrong, it usually means you are on the right path.

I often find that when for a whole week (and even a month sometimes) plans get messed up, things are spilled and dropped, meetings canceled and so on, all that good stuff is followed by a breakthrough in one of the areas of life that I’ve been working hard on.

I have a little example for you.

Right now, at the moment of writing this post, I’m a few days out of a series of events that I cannot call fortunate or pleasant. I just went through a time where literally every tiny thing didn’t go as planned.

Like injuring my knee and my wrist within two weeks of each other, making a huge pot of bean chili with beans that would not soften after four hours of cooking so the whole dish is being thrown out, weekend plans getting canceled week after week, a bunch of payments is being delayed, and more, and more, and more.

Normally, I’d start losing my temper. And then before I know it, I’m annoyed, overly emotional, and absent-minded. I’d feel lost and not able to do anything.

This time things were different. I’ve actively decided to take all these misfortunes particularly calmly.

It kept going for quite a while… but I didn’t let it break me.

And guess what happened?

It just suddenly turned in the opposite direction.

Things that I’ve been very looking forward to started happening.

Things that I’ve been waiting for for a while.

Things that I’ve almost forgotten are going to come to me sooner or later if I keep working.

My blog stats went up and one of my posts ranked on the first page on Google (yay!).

I had time to pick and order some things that would help me boost my business (click here to check out my content creation and art essentials!).

I was finally able to start working on my new creative projects (that you’ll learn about soon!).

The payments would come in exactly when I needed them.

AND most importantly, a peaceful state of mind that is still with me, a few days later. And that’s not even the full list.

Now, it’s important to understand that shifts of this kind don’t happen overnight.

I mean, they look like that but there’s always a long and persistent journey behind it. I’ve been educating myself on this and related topics for a pretty long time, so my mind had an opportunity to absorb all the ideas and rewire itself.

So when the time came, it was easier for me to act accordingly, stay patient and calm, and go with the flow.

Things that helped me dramatically with this step are daily meditation, gratitude journaling, a plant-based diet, and talking to a life coach. Spiritual practices in general are great when it comes to learning to let go.

Also, I recently came across the philosophy of stoicism, and it reminded me how crucial it is to not worry about things that we cannot control.

There is another interesting point that’s worth talking about.

All this mess that I told you about above started right after I went through an extremely positive shift in a few areas of my life.

I adapted quite a few new habits. I started waking up early, I started a daily yoga and meditation routine, I switched to a plant-based diet, I made gratitude my regular practice, and I started tapping into my feminine energy and re-learning to embrace and love it.

(As you can probably tell, these are the exact habits that helped me to stay calm during this turbulent time.)

And then BOOM! Suddenly, everything is just all over the place.

I couldn’t help but get the feeling that the Universe was testing me to see if I was committed to my new path, or if it was just temporary.

The Universe is checking if we really changed or not, whether we can notice bad patterns in our lives and stay away from them or not, and whether we’re ready for the next level or chapter in our life, or not.

And if you are going through difficulties staying sober-thinking, strong, and resilient, then might as well give you your next reward, right?

It’s like your last exam before getting to the next grade — if you can go through these hardships better than the previous times, then you are ready.

That is done for you (or anyone and anything) to not stagnate. It’s done for constant evolution because that’s how this world has been since the very beginning.

👍🏼 Other signs from the universe that you are on the right path

1) Things magically work out exactly the way you wanted, or even better than you could imagine

From something tiny like good weather on a day when you have to be running errands outside to something big and significant like moving to a different country at the last possible moment without realizing it (which happened to me when I moved to the US in March 2020 and a week later the airports were shut down for a year).

2) Things that seemed completely out of place are now unfolding in a new light

When you get a gig by mistake and have no plans to continue working with this client because it’s not your format, but they turn into your major client, actually leading you toward your biggest goal (happened to me).

3) People keep asking you how you managed to do something, or they tell you that you are glowing from the inside

Happens to me whenever I’m close to fulfilling one of my dreams!

4) Repeating dreams related to water and air

When I’m on the way to some changes that I’m excited about, I keep dreaming about huge waves, jumping from a great height into the ocean, and flying.

5) The right connections find you without you putting in any effort

You are being introduced to exactly the right people and you meet them where you wouldn’t expect it.

⏰ How to trust the Universe’s timing?

I want you to read a little something:

I came up with the following idea by observing my actions, mistakes, and choices. In one sentence, it would sound like this: Everything that you want has already happened to you.

Now, let me explain.

It has already happened in the future, and all you need to do is to get on the right path that will lead you to that future reality. Past, present, and future happen simultaneously, but in different dimensions.

For example, I suddenly really wanted a peanut butter toast.

At that very moment, a toast with peanut butter had been already eaten by me. Not in this reality — here I just had a strong desire. However, in another reality, this has already happened!

And to make this my reality, I just need to take the right steps. In my case, I need to go to the supermarket and buy a jar of peanut butter. This is a very minor example, but it is worth starting with such desires to get the idea.

This idea is different from the law of attraction, according to which we use our thoughts to attract things and events.

Instead, we focus on figuring out the right path to our “already-achieved” goal, and then on following that path to literally “jump” into another dimension and end up where the desired has already happened.

This way of thinking helps you to not doubt your abilities (it’s been very useful for me). It also inspires and makes life easier. It seems that you can succeed in absolutely everything.

The only thing you have to do is to find out which algorithm of action is the right one.

You don’t have to worry about whether you succeed or not. Because if you discover the right path, you will absolutely — one hundred percent — reach your goal. More precisely, the goal has already been achieved in the future. You just need to find your way there.

…This was five years ago in March, in my home country.

You just read a short article from my first blog (which has sunk into oblivion) that I recently recovered, and it became my inspiration for this blog post.

A couple of years later after writing this, I read Reality Transurfing by Vadim Zeland. Here’s how I would describe the central message of the book:

Reality transurfing is based on a belief that the Universe consists of a multidimensional space of options, from which an individual materializes one vector with the help of thoughts or ideas. Basically, all the possible variations of the events are happening at the same time and it’s up to you which one you’ll find yourself in.

Which is… the same as the idea that I described above with the peanut butter toast.

To me, it brings a lot of peace and confidence knowing that a version of me, with my dreams accomplished, is out there, waiting for me to make the right choice.

I even came up with a journaling prompt based on writing a letter from your future self to yourself now. I love doing that prompt when I feel like I need some extra encouragement.
