We’re living in the most unpredictable times. This meditation for uncertainty script and video are my go-to when I feel lost and scared.

If you’re someone like me — who wants and needs to control and know everything — it’s especially pretty hard to deal with uncertainty.

The truth is, we cannot know everything. And it’s probably for the best.

What we can do is learn to manage our emotions and give ourselves love and support from within during hard times.

In this post, you’ll find a short “meditation for uncertainty” script that you can print out and use whenever you need a few minutes of calmness and comfort.

🌆 Living in uncertain times

Life is a journey full of twists and turns.

It is hard to predict what the future holds, and this can cause many uncertainties and worries.

However, it is important to remember that we cannot know everything. Oftentimes, we cannot predict how things are going to go. There are also things we cannot control but you have the power to control your mindset.

By adopting a positive outlook and focusing on the present moment, we can cope with difficult circumstances and confidently face the unknown.

Moreover, cultivating a growth mindset can help us embrace challenges as opportunities for learning and development, which can ultimately lead to greater resilience and success in life.

This tension-release meditation — in the next chapter — has helped me tremendously when I felt scared and confused because of everything changing rapidly and going in all kinds of unexpected directions.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by all the uncontrollable things happening in your life, and you can’t grasp where it’s all going and what’s going to happen next, — this practice is for you.

It is a comforting and uplifting experience that will hopefully feel like a breath of fresh air.

So whatever you’re doing right now, pause for a moment — it won’t take more than a few minutes — and find a comfortable posture.

Straighten your back. Release any tension in your body.

Relax your arms and legs. Relax your face, your shoulders, your belly.

We’re going to take three deep breaths — in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Let’s take the first breath: inhale deep to the top of your lungs. And exhale slowly.

Another one: Inhale… And exhale.

The last one: Deep breath in… And out.

Feel your body sink into deep relaxation.

Repeat the following affirmations in your mind.


It is okay to feel confused and doubtful sometimes, and not know all the answers.

I might be feeling scared right now, but I am safe.

Change is scary but so is staying the same.

The universe has my back and I trust in the plan, even if I cannot see it.

I am safe and protected.

I grow through the uncertainty I go through.

Everything is happening for me, not to me.

Everything is working out for me.

I am doing the best I can today and tomorrow is another day.

I focus on the current moment and will meet whatever arises with presence.

I am patient. I am resilient. I have faith.


Take a deep breath in… And exhale.

Start slowly getting back to your body. Gently move your toes, your fingers. And when you’re ready, open your eyes.
